Update: Boy and Girl Chorister Recruitment Open Day 2018 has now taken place but we welcome boys and girls to join the Cathedral Choirs any time of the year.

If you are aged between 8 and 13, are good at reading and really love singing, you could have the chance to join one of our choirs and to enjoy singing in a beautiful building week by week.

For the audition, you just have to turn up at the Cathedral Song Room at any time between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 19 May 2018, perhaps bringing a song to sing which you know well. We shall then get you to sing some simple tests to find out more about your singing skills.

The Song Room is best approached from Westminster Bridge Road, via the iron gate by the CAFOD building. Also, the car-park gate will be open on Lambeth Road. There will be signs at both entrances leading to to the Song Room entrance. For those not familiar with the location of the Cathedral - full details of local transport options and a map are available here.

If parents would like to register their interest or ask any questions, please contact the Director of Music, Norman Harper, by e-mail at music@stgeorges.org.uk, giving a contact number and as much detail as you can about your daughter or son: e.g. age, present school, singing and choral experience, instrumental skills etc.

St George's choirs are a very important part of the Cathedral's life and worship. If you regularly attend Sunday morning Masses at 10am or 11.30am you will already know how our choirs sound in our glorious building.
