Celebrate Advent and Christmas at St George's. There are number of additional Advent & Christmas Services this year at St George's Cathedral. A full schedule is available to download below and to pick up from the back of the Cathedral.

Update: despite London's Covid alert level increasing to Tier 4 on Sunday 20 December, all scheduled Masses and Christmas services are taking place as planned.

The season begins with the First Sunday of Advent, on 29 November, when the first candle is lit on the Cathedral Wreath. This Mass is live-streamed, as collective public worships resumes on 2 December.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus restrictions, the annual Christmas Fair cannot take place this year, however we will still have the Grand Christmas Draw, more details here

Archbishop John Wilson will be leading a simple service of reflection and Adoration of Jesus of the Blessed Sacrament with the opportunity for confession on Saturday 5 and Saturday 12 December, starting at 3pm. Please do come and join us for this much- needed time of reflection and restoration.

The annual Cathedral Carol Service is this year replaced by A Christmas Meditation of Music & Word, led by Archbishop John Wilson, on Thursday 17 December at 7.30pm.  All are welcome so please invite family and friends to join us.

Finally, Midnight Mass, and a number of other services will require a ticket to guarantee entry this year due to social distancing restrictions - you can book your tickets below.

Timings this year are not the same as usual, a full schedule of services for the Advent and Christmas period is available to download here (PDF)
